Without a care in the world
April 7, 2012
So we packed up and left for Europe for a month. Vacation time. On our map was a long series of cities in Spain and Bulgaria and one in Portugal. In attempt to keep it light photo gear wise I packed a D7000 with a 35mm and Leica D lux 5. Only mentioning this because my trusted D700 was left behind and I really wasn’t planning on going crazy with our vacay photos. Man, was I ever wrong. Came home with a insane number of images most of them of Lydia. She never lets me photograph her without some kind of a bargain. Or I don’t have the time to. On the road however there was plenty of distraction for her and I couldn’t stop clicking away. Without a care in the world. I was a mom with a camera alright! Never posed her, all images are of things she did on her own. I was in heaven. We greeted quite a few sun rises together (image #21, my princess warrior), chased pigeons and “adopted” a bunny toy she called Fuzzy Bunny. Bellow are a few of my favorite shots from this trip. No wonder so many of them are portraits of my daughter…
