Independence Day Wedding celebrations, at a baseball game in the capital of MI, Lansing. 

It doesn’t get any more red, white and blue than this.

Months ago, when I first spoke to Tracy, I remember her saying “We are having a very non traditional wedding on 4th of July, at a baseball stadium , during a baseball game!” My response “I LOVE IT, I really hope I get to do photograph it !” And I did. And It was every bit of exciting as it first promised to be! I mean, comm’on ! A wedding on Independence Day, in a baseball stadium ?! But at the end of the day, the location doesn’t really matter. You can be on the moon, but if the people weren’t having a good time, if they weren’t kind and fun then its all a pointless. But on this Independence Day, in Lansing, at the “Lugnuts” game, we all celebrated the marriage of Tracy and Talal with laughter, tears of joy, family, friends and so much love. Not even the 90+ degrees weather could get in the way. ( It was HOT, y’all ) I would say that this was the most unique wedding I have ever photographed. Not only because of the stadium, and the spectacular fireworks! Tracy also had 4 pairs of shoes, and the American Flag ones are by far the coolest shoes EVER. I want to say how easy it was to be there with everyone, and how much I laughed. Everyone made me feel like I’ve known them forever. It could have been very easy to get lost in the grandeur of the day, Independence Day, baseball game, a stadium full of people, first pitches and all, fireworks! But the love of family and friends toped that. I hope you can tell from the images how much emotion there was there and all of it came from within! 

At the end of the night, after the spectacular fireworks, Tracy said to me “I feel so blessed to have watched that!” I felt the same. Thank you for having me.
