Leanne + Sebastian / Ferndale Wedding

About a month ago I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of this lovely couple. Leanne and Sebastian  were very clear from the very start that this was their day and it’ll be done their way.  They knew what was really important to them and they made sure it was a priority. It was all about family, friends, being spontaneous, unscripted, capturing love, joy, laughter, moments…  I can go on and on about how beautiful Leanne looked and how handsome Sebastian was ( You can see that in the images if you weren’t there), how perfect the Downtown Ferndale venue was ( two minutes away from their home), decor, flowers etc, etc. Truth is for me and I’m guessing for everyone else attending, the best part was how in love and fun and alive and real and unpretentious they are. Favorite part of the night, hands down, the speeches.  You could tell they are loved, lovely, funny, giving and open hearted and maybe a bit opinionated ( which is probably the feature that landed them in my studio, best feature ever !!!)

Sebastian is a photographer himself, and it’s always nerve racking shooting another photographer’s wedding. But it’s also a privilege, I don’t take for granted.
